Korg Wavestation VST Update: A Community Effort to Unify the Plug-In Library

With its 18 banks of 50 patches each, this plugin is a treasure trove of creative possibilities. However, as much as we appreciate the Wavestation's capabilities, navigating its extensive library can be overwhelming, especially for those who are new to synthesizers.

To address this issue, I'm proposing an innovative approach to unify the Korg Wavestation plug-in library by creating a comprehensive and easily accessible database of patch metadata. This project requires collaboration from fellow users who own the Korg Wavestation VST update, like you!

The idea is simple: we'll create an Excel spreadsheet that captures essential information about each patch, including its name, category prefix, bank number, program number, and more. By doing so, we can develop a cohesive library that makes it easy to search, categorize, and explore the Wavestation's vast sound palette.

To get started, I'll need your help in filling out the spreadsheet for one or more banks. Once we have a completed spreadsheet, I'll process it with a new program that will generate a unified library for the Korg Wavestation plug-in.
